APL »ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ welcomes new starters to its editorial team  

APL »ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ is pleased to announce a number of new appointments across its editorial team. 

National Geographic Traveller (UK)

Lucy McGuire: Branded content editor  

Lucy has over a decade of experience creating commercial and consumer content across travel and lifestyle. Passionate about branded content, her recent commercial clients include The Times, Tui and Virgin Holidays. She’s also worked in-house for Manchester Evening News and Virgin Holidays, and has been a contributor for publications such as Escapism, TTG and Travel Weekly.  

Rory Goulding: Project editor 

Rory joins National Geographic Traveller’s growing team of editors, bringing to the table some 15 years’ experience in the travel media sector. Formerly a sub-editor at Lonely Planet magazine, Rory has spent recent years freelancing as a travel writer and editor for titles including The Times and The Sunday Times.  

Sam Kemp: Assistant editor 

Sam joins us from Far Out magazine, where he’s been a staff writer, and then senior writer, since 2021. While there, he was pitching and producing stories in line with travel trends, as well as commissioning visual and written content. Sam’s role will see him contribute widely across all National Geographic Traveller editorial products and events.  

Lifestyle & Direct Response

Beth Finney: Editor, ASTA Worldwide Destination Guide  

Beth joins us following a position as senior copy editor for the Uptime app and, previously, deputy editor for Oceanographic Magazine, where she led the title’s online editorial expansion. Beth has also been an editor on titles by Morris Visitor Publications, Boat International »ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ and Runwild »ÆÉ«ÊÓƵ Group. 

Anna Evdokimou: Deputy project editor  

Anna joins us from Broadcast magazine, where she worked as a content writer, interviewer and researcher for the title and its sister website, Broadcast Intelligence. Previously, she was editorial assistant at the Literary Review
